One-To-One Support Services

ONE-TO-ONE SUPPORT SERVICES

We are aware that feelings of isolation and of abandonment are the toughest parts of standing up for yourself and leaving your abuser.  Feeling that the decision to no longer be subjected to abuse leaves many feeling completely alone, without anywhere to turn to and not knowing where to go. We are here for them.

Through personal lived experience, we are able to offer a supportive and empathic relationship; we are genuinely here for you, as a friend who cares and truly wants you to realise a successful and independent well-being. For those transitioning from an abusive situation and moving onto settling in a new life, we offer the following support services:​​​​

Befriending

A trusting friendship from someone who knows what you are going through and has empathy, understanding and compassion to ensure you feel seen, heard and understood.

Emotional/mental health support

Emotional and mental health support from +12 years' experience in Social Support Work.

Support for applying for benefits. 

Support for applying for benefits from personal experience and through translation support.

Support to access housing services

Support for applying for social housing services and through translation support.

Support in referral to the right organisations 

Assistance in referring clients to the most appropriate organization according to their situation and needs.

Practical support with health management

Practical and translation support with booking and attending health-related appointments.
